Affordable Portal Design Process

Our process is simple. We build from our standard project plan offering you detailed updates each step of the way. The basic outline is as follows, but does not include time for graphic or custom development work...

Days 1-2

We contact you via e-mail to schedule a conference call. The call will take about an hour. During the call we will be discussing the following;Low cost website design

  • Site purpose, audience, user roles, security
  • Time-line
  • Design Templates and where to select
  • Content
  • Page Layouts & Information Architecture
  • Determine if custom programming is required
  • Menu Structure
  • E-mail Forms
  • We install  latest base Joomla content management system on test servers. Site can be hosted on your servers or our as long as your servers meet the minimum requirements.

Days 3-5

  • Install selected template
  • We gather content details and menu listing from your end - just need framework and list, not actual content
  • We begin to design your pages and present back to you basic wire-frames on your selected templates
  • We gather feedback from you on design and adjust based on comments
  • We build out e-mail/content forms and test functionality
  • We install specific modules based on package purchased
Days 6-7+
  • We continue build out and solicting feed back
  • We clean up content based on your review
  • We do testing of modules and web based forms
  • Finalize functionality
  • Work with you on deployment
